How to Organize Etsy with Trello

I love Trello which might be super obvious by now (referral link if you want to try it out) and I use it in a variety of ways to organize Proof & Parchment. It’s also a big part of my blogging process which you can read more about here. But now I want to dive into how I organize Etsy with Trello to keep my Proof & Parchment shop running smoothly.

All the Products

First off I organize Etsy with Trello by having a whole board dedicated to my Etsy products so it can all be in one place and be super organized.

On my Etsy product board I have a bunch of lists including new product ideas, resources, vendors, and workflows. Plus I have a separate list dedicated to all my product categories that has a card for each individual product. By having a card for every product I sell it makes it super easy to organize Etsy with Trello. I am able to store and track all the important information for each individual product. In each product’s card I make sure to include the title, description, image and links (Etsy and bit.ly). And then for each category I link to a Google Drive document where I track all of the SEO data and metrics.

Side note I love the way that I can link directly to individual Google Drive documents directly from Trello! It makes it so easy to get to the file I need without having to open up Google Drive and searching for it. All I have to do is click on the link in Trello and it opens up the exact file I need! I also use this for my blog posts and link to the word document directly from each blog’s Trello card.

Vendors & Resources

I also organize Etsy with Trello by keeping track of all my Etsy related resources in one place. I have a list of my vendors along with what products and supplies I order from them. I also have a list of all the website resources that I use regularly along with any important log in information. This includes Marmalead, Etsy Rank, and Vela. Since I’m always finding new resources or trying out different tactics I am able to easily update the list by adding and removing cards or rearranging the order in a matter of seconds!

Product Ideas From Start to Finish

The last part of my Etsy plus Trello integration is I use it as a way to brainstorm and keep track of all of my new product ideas and brainstorming. Once I have a new idea and am ready to create the actual listing then all I have to do is take the idea card and add the new product workflow checklist to it along with the photo, title, and description. It makes taking an idea from start to finish super easy!

Weekly Tasks

Outside of my product specific board in Trello I also organize Etsy with Trello in my weekly board. This is where I divvy out my to do list at the beginning of the week and then I can see visually what I need to do for my Etsy shop versus my other taskings. This helps me get into a good flow and keep everything on track with my business goals.
