May + June 2020 Business Goals Check-In

May & June flew by for me and was slightly less productive than I had planned. I did keep up with a few new blog posts and items in the shop. I also focused a lot on my calligraphy practice which took up most of my working hours. If you want to see all the details keep scrolling!

• Have not been focusing much on IG lately

  Pinterest 

• Traffic numbers on my pins still trending upwards
• 9% of my Etsy traffic came from Pinterest

Etsy

  New Items 

• Released set of father’s day greeting cards and sent an email about the cards out to my list
• Analyzed shop contents for best sellers and non sellers, starting to plan out how to proceed and focus on increasing cards and prints

  Consistent Sales, Traffic, & Conversion Rate 

• Conversion rate increased to 3% in May but decreased to 0.7% in June

Patreon

  Increase Marketing and New Patrons 

• Continued with emails about Patreon to list but still no increase in patrons

  Consistent Posts 

• May’s theme was Mother’s Day
• June’s theme was travel

Designs

  Seasonal Launches, Design & Product Variety 

• Designed the new father’s day cards
• Planning out new designs for rest of 2020 and release plan

Big Dream Goal: Calligraphy

  Practice & New Styles 

• Completed Calligraphy Practice Plan 1.0 by LH Calligraphy and started 2.0
• Finished the calligraphy blog series
• Participated in calligraphy envelope exchange
