So March is now over and it was definitely a weird one. For many reasons but mostly from the pandemic being in full swing. It felt like a lot of ups and downs all month long. Luckily I was able to still focus on my business goals since I do work from home. And by trying to keep my somewhat normal routine I avoided spiraling down the stress filled rabbit hole 24/7. And in keeping with that I am going to continue to breakdown the past month’s goals and where everything currently stands!

- Updated Etsy items on my home page and side bar

- Similar traffic from February
- Vault was number 1 visited page due to increased links sent out to my email subscribers highlighting the freebies
- Created a highlighted freebie that changes each month
Blog Consistently
- 4 new blog posts in March: February Review, Spring Collection Launch, Dip Pen versus Brush Pen Calligraphy, Patreon Update
- Variety of post categories: Business and Calligraphy
- Started a new “learn calligraphy today” series
Track Value of Emails

Grow List
- 17 new people subscribed to my list in March
Social Media
- Shared more calligraphy videos in stories
- All traffic numbers on my pins trending upwards
- 8% of my Etsy traffic came from Pinterest
- Created new pins for all of my spring items and scheduled the pins
Etsy
New Items
- Released spring collection of 21 new items
- Blogged and emailed about the collection
- Updated listing imagery and working towards filling all 10 photo slots for every item. 37% done so far!
Consistent Sales, Traffic, & Conversion Rate
- Conversion rate bumped up to 1.5% so that’s a nice improvement
- 160% number of sales increase from March 2019 to March 2020
Patreon
Increase Marketing and New Patrons
- Added new patrons in March!
- Sent out an email and wrote a blog post specifically about Patreon

- Brainstormed ways to incorporate calligraphy into the business more concretely

Looking back at everything above and March was a busy month. I did a lot with my Etsy shop in getting it ready for the spring. I also started to work more on my website. Which means this month I need to get back to working on my calligraphy goals and maybe one of these months I tackle email.
