Joyful Week at P & P no. 13
Welcome to another Joyful Week here at Proof & Parchment. I’m sharing a few fun things including a great article looking at the latest trends in craft beer branding plus a homepage design refresh here at Proof & Parchment. Keep scrolling to see more fun & joyful things from the past week.
Craft Beer Branding
In a former job I worked in the packaging design world and I still love it even though it’s not something I specialize in right now. So I definitely keep up with it through following other blogs and social media accounts. Plus I love to peruse stores to check out the latest design trends in packaging. The other day I stumbled upon this great article on craft beer trends with lots of fun examples.
I think my favorites are Fernson Brewing by CODO Design, the bold colors and mix of bold plus expressive typography stands out to me a lot. Also I love the design of Breckenridge Brewing by VSA Partners with the great integration between the illustration and typography.
Check them out and let me know what your favorite is!
Thanks For Being Awesome Cards
I am still working on designing and coming up with some new stationary, but I did manage to get a few thank you cards designed this past week. Instead of just saying thanks I wanted to take it up a notch and add a little more personality so I went with “thanks for being awesome” I also made sure they were bold colors with a few extra elements to catch your attention. I hope they will bring joy to the recipients & now on to more designs!
Proof & Parchment Website Refresh
Change is pretty much constant and I’ve been wanting to refresh my website a little bit to make it more personable and also to make it clearer on what I have to offer. Plus I wanted to make sure all my content is easy to get to like my blog & new designs & social media. So over the past week I finally started the update with some new graphics on the homepage and a few changes to the layout. I also updated my services page so be sure to check it all out and let me know what you think.
Thanks!
