The Kombucha Shop

I have been drinking Kombucha off and on for a few years now. I had some favorite brands and local shops back in Virginia when I lived there. However here in Budapest it was harder to find Kombucha so I decided to jump in and try to make my own since it’s always intrigued me. I found the Kombucha Shop and started with their kit and scoby. It was so much fun and so easy to make plus the results were delish! Since my first batch back in January I’ve continued to make more (I think I’m on batch #5) and am having so much fun experimenting with flavors. It’s safe to say I’m hooked!

Margaritas!

I have to admit there’s a lack of Mexican food here in Budapest so I’ve resorted to making a lot more homemade Mexican meals, like simple taco bowls! However with this past weekend being Cinco de Mayo, one of the Mexican restaurants had a huge street party to celebrate & it was successful in filling my chips & salsa cravings. Plus it was the perfect warm evening to sip on a Margarita while walking around Budapest.

Coffee Mugs

I pretty much stuck to a drink themed post this week so why not round it out with some coffee mugs! I probably have too many mugs (if that’s possible) but I love having a variety of sizes, styles, and sayings on my mugs. It always makes drinking my morning/all day cup more joyful! I recently started designing a few of my own and now have them on my Etsy Shop. It’s so much fun to add my own creative flair to my favorite beverage of the day and it’s so cool to see others now having these mugs that I have designed in their own homes!
